The focus assist function magnifies
the image that appears at the center
of the screen to help you focus
manually.
Using the focus assist function will
not affect the recordings. The focus
assist function will be cancelled when
you start recording.
Mode switch: P
[ON], [ OFF]
The image stabilizer compensates for
camcorder shake even at full telephoto.
The image stabilizer is designed to
compensate for a normal degree of
camcorder shake.
The image stabilizer cannot be turned
off when the mode switch is set to
AUTO.
We recommend setting the image
stabilizer to [ OFF] when using a
tripod.
Mode switch: P
[50i NORMAL], [ PF25]
Selects the frame rate to be used when
recording.
[ PF25]: 25 frames per second,
progressive.
Using this frame rate will give your
recordings a cinematic look. When
combined with the [ CINE MODE]
recording program ( 48), the
cinematic look will be enhanced.
[AUTO], [ OFF]
Mode switch: P
[ ON:AiAF], [ ON:CENTER],
[OFF]
[OFF], [2sec], [ 4 sec],
[ 6 sec], [ 8 sec], [ 10 sec]
Selects the time to display a still image
after it has been recorded on the
memory card.
This menu item will not be available
when the drive mode ( 68) is set to
[ CONT.SHOOT.], [ HISPEED
CONT.SHOOT.] or [ AEB].
If you press while reviewing a
still image it will continue to be
displayed indefinitely. Press
halfway to return to the normal
display.
