Setup Order
Onceasuitablesitehasbeenchosen,proceedtoinstalltheMatrixX4‐Cchassisinarack.Itis
recommendedthattheMatrixX4‐Cchassisinstallationproceedinthisorder:
1. Mountthechassistoa19‐inch(48.26‐centimeter)rackorothersecurelocation.Referto

TheMatrixX4‐Cchassisisdesignedtobemountedinastandard19‐inch(48.26‐centimeter)
equipmentrackorcabinet.Usethefollowingguidelinestomountthechassis:
•Allowatleast30.96centimeters(12.19inches)ofclearanceinfrontoftherackforchassis
installation.
•Installthefollowing optionalracksupports:
• Racksupportbracketsareoptionalbutrecommendedforfour‐postcabinetinstallations.
•Mid‐mountbracketsareoptionalbutrecommendedfortwo‐postracks(supportforshorter
racks).
• AttachtheMatrixX4‐Cchassisearstotherack.
•Installgroundingcables,asnecessary.
