Installing Optional Rack Support Brackets
Racksupportbracketsareshippedwiththechassisforadditionalsupportunderneaththechassis.
Theyarerecommendedforinstallationswithfour‐postcabinetstoaugmentstandardracksupport
bythefrontearsonthechassis.Toinstall theracksupportbrackets,proceedasfollows:
1. Keepingtheabovenotesinmind,locate
thepositionontherackwhereyouwillinstallthe
brackets.Thechassisrequires61.85centimeters(24.35inches)ofverticalspacing.
2. Aligntheholesinonebracketwiththoseintherack,asshowninFigure 3‐4,thenfastenitto
therackfromtheinsideofthebracketusingfour
ofthescrewssuppliedwiththerack.
3. Installthesecondbracketwithfourmorescrews,attachingthemfromtheinsideoftherack,
andproceedwithoptionalmid‐mountbracketingor“RackMountingtheMatrixX4‐C
Chassis”onpage 3‐8.

Warning: If the rack is not secured to the floor, it is recommended that you install the chassis in the
bottom half of the rack. This helps prevent the rack from being top heavy.

parte de abajo del rack. Esto ayuda a prevenir que el rack este demasiado pesado en la parte
