[New Connection (remote client function)]
1. Select [Remote Access] [New Connect] on the menu bar.
2. Enter the Server Address (IP address or domain name) and port number of the
remote server, and then click [Connect].
• The [Remote Access Authentication] page will be displayed when the remote
server connection is successful.
3. Enter the user name and password configured for the remote server and click
[OK].
• If you enter the administrator name and password, the client connects a
remote server with administrator privileges. If you enter the general user
name and password, the client connects a remote server with general user
privileges. See the following table for differences between administrator and
general user privileges.
Note
• The first time you connect to a remote server, the remote client registration
code is automatically registered on the client control page of the remote
server.
• Only one remote client can be connected to a remote server at a time. You
cannot connect to a remote server if another client is already connected.
An error message is displayed if you try to connect to a remote server if
another client is connected.
