Setting Description
Enable/Disable Enable or disable timers.
Timer recording is available only when a timer is enabled.
Disabled timers do not record.
Timer Name Enter a timer name. (Maximum 24 characters.)
The timer name is displayed on the timer list page.
Timer Schedule To set a timer, set start time, end time and the day of the week.
Checking [Daily] sets the daily timer recording during the
specified time period.
If you set the day of the week, check [Day of the Week
Setting] and specify the day or multiple days of the week.
If the day of the week is not checked, the timer recording is
not set.
To record images for a full day, set the same start and end
time. If you specify the same time for both start and end, the
end time will be considered to be the next day.
Recording Method Select timer recording, motion detection recording only or
alarm detection recording only.
A time period before and after detection can be set for
motion and alarm recordings. If you do not set a time period,
images are recorded only at the motion is detected or an
alarm is detected.
To set [all Alarm and Sensor], [Alarm1/Sensor] or [Alarm2],
check [Set the Alarm1/Sensor Recording]/[Set the Alarm2
Recording] on the [Alarm/Sensor] setting window of the
individual cameras.

If motion detection recording or alarm detection recording is
chosen for the recording method, you can specify the
commands to execute when motion or an alarm is detected.

If you click

during timer recording, timer recording is not canceled. To
cancel it, disable the timer.
If you set time period over midnight, the image is divided into 2 images at
midnight.
If you close the operation window, recording will not stop
.
When is displayed in the notification area, the recording software is running
(see page 9).
If the network is disconnected during recording, recording will be paused, but
the recording icon (see
page 55) will still be displayed. Recording starts again
when the network is reconnected.
