UNABLE TO
FOCUS
The camera
cannot find focus
in MACRO
mode, possibly
due low contrast.
z Use Focus Lock
(page 25). Point at a
part of the scene that is
brighter.
z Make sure the camera is
within the range of
MACRO
focus
(page 36).
LOW LIGHT -
UNABLE TO
FOCUS
The scene is too
dark and the
camera cannot
focus.
z Add an external light
source.
z Use Focus Lock
(page 25). Point at a
part of the scene that is
brighter.
z Make sure the Focus
Assist light is set to
Auto
(page 85).
(camera shake
warning)
The light is low
and the image is
likely to be
blurry due to the
long exposure
required.
Use the flash (page 32), or
use a tripod.
ERROR SAVING
IMAGE
Memory card
was half-locked
or was removed
before the
camera finished
writing to the
card.
z Check to see if the tab on
the edge of the memory
card is fully in the
unlocked position.
z Always wait until the
Power/Memory light
returns to green before
removing the card from
the camera.
