Taking Pictures
1 Press the four-way controller (23) in A mode.
The Mode Palette appears.
2 Use the four-way controller
(2345) to choose a shooting
mode.
3 Press the 4 button.
The shooting mode is selected and the
camera returns to capture status.
4 Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The focus frame turns green if the subject is
in focus.
5 Press the shutter release button fully.
The picture is taken.
• In the shooting modes other than R and F, the flash, focus,
saturation, contrast, sharpness and white balance are
automatically set to the optimal settings for each mode.
• You can also display the Mode Palette from the quick menu by
pressing the center button. (1p.50)
