6. Select the default paper size you want the printer software to use and
click
OK
.
7. When you see a message informing you that installation is complete,
click
Restart
to restart your computer.
8. After your Macintosh restarts, select
Chooser
from the Apple menu.
If you’re going to be sharing the printer on an AppleTalk network, skip
the rest of these steps. Instead see “Setting Up on a Macintosh Network”
on page 1-24 to finish configuring the printer.
9. Click the
SPro 5500
icon, then click the icon for the USB port your
printer is connected to.
10. Select the appropriate
Background Printing
radio button to turn
background printing on or off.
With background printing on, you can use your Macintosh while it is
preparing a document for printing and use the EPSON Monitor3 utility
to manage print jobs.
11. Close the Chooser.
