Checking Printer Status from a Macintosh
The Macintosh Status Monitor utility lets you check the printer’s ink levels,
view paper information, and configure error messages and spooling features.
1. Click the utility button on the Print or Page Setup dialog box. You
see the utility menu:
Paper Out and
POperate lights
flashing, Ink Out and Paper
Size/Type light on, all paper tray
lights flash, and
H
ink out lights are on
Maintenance required now Turn off the printer and contact
EPSON as described in the
Introduction.
All control panel lights flashing Unknown error Turn off the printer and remove any
foreign objects or paper that may be
obstructing print head movement.
Then turn on the printer again. If you
still see the error indicators, turn off
the printer and contact EPSON as
described on page 5.
