My image is
grainy
(continued).
The camera
was too warm
when the
picture was
taken. The
camera may
have been on
for a long time
or had been
stored in a hot
location. As the
camera gets
hotter, images
you take may
have more
noise in them,
resulting in
more
graininess.
The effect will diminish as the
camera cools. For best image
quality, avoid storing the camera
in very hot locations. If the
camera is warm after using it for
a long time, consider turning off
the Image Display to minimize
heating.
The image
compression of
the Image
Quality setting
(4MP ,
2MP
, or
VGA )
was too high.
Use an Image Quality setting with
compression (see
page 71).
