You can set shutter speeds from 4 to 1/800 seconds.
You can set an aperture to f2 (not available for Tele),
f2.8, f4, f5.6, f8, or f11.
Auto Exposure
Auto Exposure is an easy-to-use feature to adjust the
shutter speed and the aperture automatically for the
correct exposure. Select the auto exposure as follows.
1. Make sure you are using the Manual camera
mode. (See “Making camera mode settings” on
page 2-28.)
2. Turn the camera’s dial switch to .
3. Press the button at the top left of the LCD monitor
to select
Auto Exposure
.
Note:
You can adjust the exposure finely with the
+
or
-
button.
Shutter Priority
Shutter priority allows you to select the shutter speed
first, so that the camera automatically adjusts the
aperture for the correct exposure. Select the shutter
priority as follows.
1. Make sure you are using the Manual camera
mode. (See “Making camera mode settings” on
page 2-28.)
2. Turn the camera’s dial switch to .
3. Press the button at the top left of the LCD monitor
to select
Shutter Priority
.
4. Press the
ISO
or
W.B.
button to select the shutter
speed.
