LCD Monitor and Display Panel Messages
When printing with the Direct Print program, a
variety of status messages may appear on the camera's
LCD monitor or the printer’s display panel. For
detailed explanations of these messages, see the
following tables.
LCD monitor messages
Message Explanation
No Photos in
Memory.
This message appears when there
are no photos in memory. Press OK
to return to the previous screen.
Please Select at
least one photo to
print.
There are no photos selected. Press
OK to return to the previous screen
and select a photo.
Unsupported printer
model.
Please connect
supported model.
The camera is not connected to an
appropriate printer. Connect the
camera to a printer described on
page 4-2, then press any button to
make print settings. (To cancel
printing, hold down the MENU
button.
You selected Paper Size that your
printer does not support. Select an
appropriate paper size. (For
information on available paper
sizes, refer to your printer’s
documentation.)
Connection or
printer error.
Printing was interrupted because of
a printer error. Clear the error, then
start printing again from the
beginning. (For information on
clearing printer errors, see your
printer’s documentation.)
OK to erase printing
settings?
You are about to erase the current
print settings. To erase the settings,
press Yes.
Batteries are low.
Use AC adapter.
Battery power is almost out.
Connect the camera to the AC
adapter.
Error.
Settings reset to
default.
An error occurred while the Direct
Print program was working. The
settings you have made returned to
their default values. To go back to
the main menu, press OK.
Insert a Memory
Card in the
camera.
There is no memory card in the
camera. Insert a memory card. For
instructions, see “Installing and
removing a CompactFlash Card”
on page 1-10.
Printing canceled. You held down the MENU button
while printing. The printer stops
printing and ejects the paper. This
message disappears after three
seconds.
Printing canceled.
Reset printer and
camera.
An error occurred. The printer stops
printing and ejects the paper. This
message disappears after three
seconds.
