SETTING THE TV SYSTEM
This setting is to specify the type of image signal that is output from the camera’s DIGITAL/AV
terminal.

Display the Shooting Option Setting Screen (or
Playback Option Setting Screen) (see page 31).

Select “TV SYSTEM”, and press the SET button.
œ The TV System Setting Screen appears.

Press [j] or [l] on the arrow button to select the
appropriate TV system, and press the SET button.
NTSC: To output NTSC video signals
PAL: To output PAL video signals
œ This completes the TV system setting.
œ The display returns to the Shooting Option Setting
Screen (or Playback Option Setting Screen).
œ The TV system setting is retained even if the main switch
is set to Ô or “MONITOR OFF”, or if the camera is
turned off.
NOTE
œ If the TV system setting is not correct for the connected TV, you will not be able to view the
images on the TV.
œ When “PAL” is the selected setting, if the AV cable is connected to the camera’s DIGITAL/AV
terminal, no indication appears on the LCD monitor screen.
