SETTING SCREEN BASIC OPERATIONS
At the setting screens, use the jog dial or arrow button and the SET button to perform the desired
settings. The selected menu or icon will turn orange in color (or reverse video). To enter or exit
the setting screens, see “DISPLAYING THE SETTING SCREEN AND OPTION SETTING
SCREEN” on page 31.
Basic button operations
To select a menu:
œ Press [j] to select the item above.
œ Press [l] to select the item below.
œ From the Shooting Setting Screens, turn the jog dial.
To select a setting:
œ Press [c] to select the next icon (item) to the right.
œ Press [d] to select the next icon (item) to the left.
œ Press [j] to select the next icon (item) above.
œ Press [l] to select the next icon (item) below.
To finalize the selected setting:
œ Press the SET button to set the selected menu item.
œ In the Shooting Setting Screens, the selected icon moves to the far left.
œ In the Playback Setting Screens, the screen corresponding to the selected icon appears.
To cancel the operation
œ Press the MODE button. Or select the C icon or “EXIT” and press the SET button.

Clockwise: The value increases
Counterclockwise: The value decreases
On the Shooting Setting Screen, you can
select a menu.
