SETTING THE ZOOM
Setting the digital zoom
This setting allows you to set whether or not the digital zoom becomes active during magnified
shooting at a resolution of D or less.

Display the Shooting Setting Screen (see page 31).

Select a digital zoom setting from the digital zoom menu, and press the SET button.
Z: Digital zoom cannot be used.
Y: Digital zoom can be used.
œ This completes the digital zoom setting.
NOTE
œ The maximum digital zoom magnification ratio is 4x.
œ When the digital zoom is used, the image may not be as sharp.
œ The digital zoom does not work at resolutions of C or above.
