Display the Shooting Setting Screen (see page 31).

Select the desired compression ratio from the
compression menu.
a: Stores the data with an extremely low compression
(super high quality).
b: Stores the data with a low compression (high quality).
c: Stores the data with moderate compression (normal
quality).
d: Stores the data in TIFF format (no compression for
highest quality).
œ The selected icon turns orange in color.
œ Some compression ratios cannot be selected depending
on the shooting mode that is set (see page 57).

Press the SET button.
œ The selected compression ratio is set.
To exit the Shooting Setting Screen, press the MODE button.
