Viewing a recording on TV
If your TV or VCR is a monaural
type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video input jack and the white or the
red plug to the audio input jack on the VCR or
the TV.
If you connect the white plug, the sound is L
(left) signal. If you connect the red plug, the
sound is R (right) signal.
If your TV/VCR has a 21-pin
connector (EUROCONNECTOR)
Use the 21-pin adaptor supplied with your
camcorder.
This adaptor is designed for output use only.
For models with mark printed on their
bottom surfaces only.
If the equipment to be connected has an S
video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video jack. With this connection, you
do not need to connect the yellow (video) plug of
the A/V connecting cable. However, you need to
connect the red and white (audio) plugs.
Connect the S video plug to the S video jack on
the TV or the VCR.
This connection produces higher quality DV
format pictures.
To display the screen indicators on TV
Set DISPLAY in to V-OUT/LCD in the menu
settings (p. 244). To make the screen indicators
disappear, press DISPLAY/BATT INFO on your
camcorder.
Si votre téléviseur ou
magnétoscope est de type
mono
Raccordez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison
audio et vidéo à la prise d’entrée vidéo et la fiche
blanche ou la fiche rouge à la prise d’entrée
audio du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur.
Lorsque la fiche blanche est raccordée, le signal
sonore est émis par le canal gauche (L). Lorsque
la fiche rouge est raccordée, le signal sonore est
émis par le canal droit (R).
Si votre téléviseur/magnétoscope
est équipé d’un connecteur à
21 broches (EUROCONNECTOR)
Utilisez l’adaptateur à 21 broches fourni avec
votre caméscope.
Cet adaptateur doit être raccordé exclusivement
à une sortie.
Uniquement les modèles comportant le logo
imprimé sous l’appareil.
Si l’appareil à connecter possède une prise
S-vidéo
Les images peuvent être reproduites avec plus de
fidélité à l’aide d’un câble S-vidéo. Avec cette
connexion, vous n’avez pas besoin de brancher la
fiche jaune (vidéo) du cordon de liaison audio et
vidéo. Vous devez néanmoins brancher les fiches
rouge et blanche (audio).
Raccordez la fiche S-vidéo à la prise S-vidéo du
téléviseur ou du magnétoscope.
Cette connexion produit des images au format
DV de plus haute qualité.
Pour afficher les indicateurs d’écran sur le
téléviseur
Réglez DISPLAY sur V-OUT/LCD sous dans
les réglages de menu (p. 255). Pour faire
disparaître les indicateurs de l’écran, appuyez
sur la touche DISPLAY/BATT INFO de votre
caméscope.
