Shooting in Each Exposure Mode—continued

Enables you to set both shutter speed (Bulb and 30-1/8,000 sec., X)
and aperture (lens’ minimum to maximum) manually. With electronic
analog exposure display in the top LCD panel or viewfinder, you can
produce various creative effects by adjusting the exposure. Long Time
Exposure (Bulb) can be set in Manual exposure mode.

Set the shutter speed and aperture and
confirm with the electronic analog exposure
display in the viewfinder.
Set the shutter speed by rotating the Main-
Command Dial and the aperture by rotating
the Sub-Command Dial. These functions can be
set independently.
Long Time Exposure (Bulb) can be selected by
setting the shutter speed to buLb (x 80).

While pressing the exposure mode MODE
button, rotate the Main-Command Dial to
select ¢, then compose picture.

Locking shutter speed/aperture
Selected shutter speed and/or aperture can be locked. To lock shutter speed, see
“Locking shutter speed” x 67. To lock aperture, see “Locking aperture” x 69.
