CONFIGURING EMERGENCY E-MAIL NOTIFICATION
To disable emergency e-mail notification, select the Disable Notification radio button.
To enable emergency e-mail notification, select the Enable Notification radio button.
Setting Up E-Mail Server
To configure e-mail server information:
1. Enter a name in the Full Name text box. You should enter a name that reflects the DX8000 server sending the notification; for example,
DX8000 First Floor Lobby. (Names can be up to 31 characters long and can include spaces but not special characters.)
2. Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail Address text box.
3. Enter the address of your local SMTP mail server. Obtain this information from your network administrator.
4. If your e-mail server requires you to log in, perform the following operations:
• Select the check box labeled My E-mail Server Requires Authentication.
• Enter your e-mail server address.
• Enter your user name. (User names can be up to 31 characters in length and cannot include spaces or special characters.)
• Enter your password. (Passwords can be up to 19 characters in length and cannot include spaces or special characters.)
5. Click Apply.
