Testing E-Mail Notification
To test e-mail notification:
1. Select the My E-mail Server Requires Authentication check box if it is not already selected.
2. Enter your personal e-mail address or the address of someone who can verify the receipt of the test e-mail in the To text box.
3. Enter DX8000 E-mail Notification Test in the Subject text box.
4. Enter the following server settings if necessary:
• Server address (This address should be the same as the SMTP server address you entered above.)
• User name
• Password
5. Click Test E-mail Notification.
The DX8000 can be configured to send e-mail notifications on a periodic basis, such as once every ten minutes.
