2-3 Audio Functions
f MONITOR volume control
This control adjusts the speaker or earphone volume for
sounds other than the alarm sound. At the minimum
position, no sound can be heard.
g ALARM volume control
This control adjusts the speaker or earphone alarm volume.
At the minimum position, no sound can be heard.
However, if in the AUDIO-1 page of the
MAINTENANCE menu the MIN ALARM VOL item is
set to “SET”, the alarm tone is audible even when this
volume control is at the minimum position.

h Built-in speaker
The speaker can be used to monitor E-E sound during
recording, and playback sound during playback. The
speaker also sounds alarms to reinforce visual warnings.
The output level of the speaker can be lowered by
changing the setting of the SP ATT LEVEL item on the
AUDIO-1 page of the MAINTENANCE menu.
If you connect an earphone to the EARPHONE jack, the
speaker is automatically muted.

information about alarms.

channel-2 recording level) controls
These controls adjust the audio levels of channels 1 and 2
when the AUDIO SELECT switches are set to MANUAL.
