i Continuous Shooting
Also set the AF operation (p.110) matching the subject.
• For a moving subject
When using a lens with “STM” in its name, such as the EF-M18-55mm
f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, the camera can keep focusing and shooting
continuously during Servo AF. (The continuous shooting speed becomes
slower.) The continuous shooting speed depends on the lens used. With
other lenses, the focus will be locked for the second and subsequent
frames during continuous shooting.
• For a still subject
When One-Shot AF is set, the camera will focus only once during
continuous shooting.
An external flash (sold separately) can also be used.
Since the flash will require recycling time, the continuous shooting speed
will be slower.
Shooting Tips
The continuous shooting speed may decrease when shooting subjects whose
brightness changes considerably.
Depending on the lens used, the image displayed on the LCD monitor may
appear darker during continuous shooting. However, the images will be
recorded with the correct exposure.
When the battery level is low, the continuous shooting speed will become
slightly slower.
The continuous shooting speed may become slower depending on the lens
type, shutter speed, aperture, subject conditions, brightness, flash use, etc.
When you use a Creative filter and shoot, even if you set the drive mode to
[i] (continuous shooting), single shooting will take effect.
