Set the ambience effect.
Tap on the item so that [Effect] appears
on the bottom of the screen.
Tap [L] to select the level of the
effect while checking the results on the
LCD monitor.

Take the picture.
Press the shutter button.
If you change the shooting mode or set
the power to <2>, the setting will
revert back to [0 Standard setting].
The image shown on the LCD monitor with the ambience setting applied will
not look exactly the same as the actual photo.
Using flash may minimize the ambience effect.
In bright outdoors, the LCD monitor image you see may not have exactly the
same brightness or ambience as the actual photo. Set [52: LCD brightness]
to [4] and look at the LCD monitor image while the screen is unaffected by
stray light.
