Use a fully-charged battery pack (p.32).
The rechargeable battery pack performance will degrade with repeated
use. If the battery loses power quickly, purchase a new one.
The number of possible shots will decrease with any of the following
operations:
• Pressing the shutter button halfway for a prolonged period.
• Using Continuous AF (p.109).
• Using the lens Image Stabilizer.
• Shooting movies for a prolonged period.
• Using Movie Servo AF (p.203).
At low temperatures, the number of possible shots decreases (p.39).
The power-saving function is turning off the LCD monitor. Press any
camera button or tap the LCD monitor to turn it on again.
You can change the time until the monitor turns off automatically with
the [52: Power saving]’s [LCD auto off] setting.
The power-saving function is turning off the camera. If you do not want
auto power off to take effect, set [52: Power saving]’s [Camera auto
off] to [Disable] (p.210).
When you turn off the camera, the lens aperture stops down to prevent
light from entering the camera. This is to protect the camera’s internal
components. When you set the power to <1> or <2>, the
aperture makes a small noise as it opens or closes.
The battery becomes exhausted quickly.
The LCD monitor turns off by itself.
The camera turns off by itself.
There is a noise when the power is turned ON/OFF (with an
EF-M lens attached).
