3 Setting Speedlite Functionst
On the screen, the settable functions and the display will differ
depending on the Speedlite, current flash mode, flash Custom Function
settings, etc.
For details on your Speedlite’s flash functions, refer to the instruction manual
of the Speedlite (sold separately).
Sample Display
Flash mode
You can select the flash mode to suit your desired flash shooting.
[E-TTL II flash metering] is the standard
mode of EX-series Speedlites for automatic
flash shooting.
The [Manual flash] mode is for setting the
Speedlite’s [Flash output level] yourself.
For information on other flash modes, refer
to a compatible Speedlite’s instruction
manual.
Wireless functions
Wireless (multiple) flash shooting is possible
with radio or optical transmission. For details
on wireless flash, refer to the instruction
manual of the Speedlite compatible with
wireless flash.
