j Using the Self-timer
With [q] (Self-timer: Continuous), the interval between shots may be
prolonged depending on the shooting conditions such as the image-recording
quality or flash.
When you shoot with Creative filters, even if you set the drive mode to [q],
single shooting will take effect.
After taking self-timer shots, playing back the image (p.92) to check focus and
exposure is recommended.
When using the self-timer to shoot only yourself, use focus lock (p.67) on an
object at about the same distance as where you will stand.
