Troubleshooting Guide
Make sure the card is properly inserted (p.34).
Slide the card’s write-protect switch to the Write/Erase position (p.34).
If the card is full, replace the card or delete unnecessary images to
make room (p.34, 254).
If a card error message is displayed, see page 36 or 335.
Set the focus mode to [AF] (p.108).
To prevent camera shake, press the shutter button gently (p.48, 49).
If the lens has an Image Stabilizer, set the IS to <1> (p.46).
In low light, the shutter speed may become slow. Use a faster shutter
speed (p.136), set a higher ISO speed (p.102), use flash (p.296), or use
a tripod.
Set [AF operation] to [One-Shot AF]. Focus lock is not possible while
[Servo AF] is active (p.111).
Keep tracking the subject with the shutter button pressed completely.
Shooting-Related Problems
No images can be shot or recorded.
The card cannot be used.
The image is out of focus.
I cannot lock the focus and recompose the shot.
When Servo AF is set, it takes longer for the shutter to be
released.
