Network setup (Administrator only)
NOTE: You can also use this feature from the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool.
Open the Web browser from your networked computer and type the IP address of
your machine. When Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool opens, click Settings
Network Settings.

Option Description
Ethernet Speed Configure the network transmission speed.
TCP/IP (IPv4) Selects the appropriate protocol and configure parameters to use
the network environment.
NOTE: There are lots of parameters to be set. If you are not
sure, leave as is, or consult the network administrator.
TCP/IP (IPv6) Selects this option to use the network environment through IPv6.
802.1x You can selects the user authentication for network
communication. For detailed information consult the network
administrator.
Ethernet Active You can set whether to use Ethernet on or off.
NOTE: Turn the power off and on after you change this
option.
Wi-Fi
Selects this option to use the wireless network.
Clear Settings Reverts the network settings to the default values.

option.
