Step 1 Preparing the power
source
Note
The BATT INFO indicator may not be displayed
in the following cases:
– The battery pack is not properly installed.
– Something is wrong with the battery pack.
– The battery is discharged completely.
Battery Info
The number displayed as Battery Info is the
approximate recording time.
While the remaining battery time is being
calculated
“CALCULATING BATTERY INFO...” is
displayed.
Connecting to a wall socket
Connect your camcorder to a wall socket the way
described in “Charging the battery pack” on page
26. You can go on using your camcorder without
fear of the battery running out.
PRECAUTION
The set is not disconnected from the AC power
source (mains) as long as it is connected to the
wall socket, even if the set itself has been turned
off.
Notes
•The AC Adaptor can supply power from a wall
socket even if the battery pack is attached to
your camcorder.
•The DC IN jack has “source priority.” This
means that the battery pack cannot supply any
power if the mains lead is connected to the DC
IN jack, even when the mains lead is not
plugged into a wall socket.

Informations sur la batterie
Le nombre qui s’affiche lorsque vous appuyez
sur BATT INFO est la durée d’enregistrement
approximative.
Pendant le calcul de l’autonomie de la batterie
Le message « CALCULATING BATTERY
INFO... » apparaît.
Raccordement à une prise
murale
Raccordez le caméscope à une prise murale
comme décrit à la page 26 dans la section
« Recharge de la batterie ». Vous pouvez
continuer à utiliser le caméscope sans craindre
que la batterie ne tombe en panne.
PRECAUTIONS
L’appareil reste connecté à l’alimentation secteur
tant qu’il est raccordé à la prise murale, même s’il
est hors tension.
Remarques
•L’adaptateur secteur peut alimenter le
caméscope à partir d’une prise murale même si
la batterie rechargeable est installée sur le
caméscope.
•La prise DC IN est la « source d’alimentation
prioritaire ». Cela signifie que la batterie
rechargeable n’alimente pas l’appareil si le
cordon d’alimentation secteur est raccordé à la
prise DC IN, même s’il n’est pas branché sur
une prise murale.
