You can gain better results by manually adjusting
the focus in the following cases. Normally, focus
is automatically adjusted.
When the POWER switch is set to MEMORY,
you can adjust the focus manually with the
image enlarged to twice the size (Expanded
focus).
Adjust the focus manually in the following cases:
•The autofocus mode is not effective when
shooting:
– Subjects through glass coated with water
droplets
– Horizontal stripes
– Subjects with little contrast with backgrounds
such as walls or the sky
•Shooting a stationary subject when using a
tripod.
•When you want to change the focus from a
subject in the foreground to a subject in the
background.
The POWER switch should be set to

(1)Press FOCUS.
The 9 (focus) indicator appears on the
screen.
(2)Turn the focus ring to sharpen focus.

Dans les situations suivantes, vous obtiendrez de
meilleurs résultats avec la mise au point
manuelle. La mise au point est automatique par
défaut.
Lorsque le commutateur POWER est réglé sur
MEMORY, vous pouvez régler la mise au point
manuellement avec l’image agrandie deux fois
(Mise au point étendue).
Réglez la mise au point manuellement dans les
cas suivants :
•L’autofocus est inactif lorsque vous filmez :
– des sujets au travers d’une vitre couverte de
gouttelettes d’eau
– des rayures horizontales
– des sujets faiblement contrastés avec des murs
ou le ciel en arrière-plan
•Lorsque vous filmez un sujet stationnaire avec
un trépied.
•Lorsque vous souhaitez faire la mise au point
sur un sujet en arrière-plan.
Le commutateur POWER doit être réglé sur
ou sur .
(1)Appuyez sur FOCUS.
L’indicateur 9 (mise au point) apparaît sur
l’écran.
(2)Tournez la bague de mise au point pour faire
la mise au point.
