2.8.12 PPM Provisioning
SFPs and XFPs are known as pluggable-port modules (PPMs) in the CTC. Multirate PPMs for the ASAP
card can be provisioned for different line rates in CTC. For more information about provisioning PPMs,
refer to the Cisco ONS 15600 Procedure Guide.
