2 Start up ScandAll PRO and click the [Scan] menu J
[Scanner Setting].
D The [TWAIN Driver (32)] dialog box appears.
3 Select [Double-page spread] for [Scan Type].
4 Click the [OK] button.
D The settings are saved.
5 Scan the document by clicking the [Scan] menu J [Scan]
in ScandAll PRO.
D The images on the front and back are merged into a single image.
z Place the end with the black and white pattern as the
leading edge in the direction of the arrow.
z Set the back side of the document (right-hand side of a
double-page spread) facing towards you.
z Adjust the side guides to the width of the Carrier Sheet
to avoid skewing.
If the [TWAIN Driver (32)] dialog box does not appear,
check the setting in ScandAll PRO by clicking the [Tool]
menu J
[Preferences] to open the [Setup] dialog box,
then confirm that [TWAIN] is selected for [Device Driver]
in the [Scan] tab.
z There may be a line or a gap appearing between the
front and back side images. Also when you scan thick
papers, images on both left and right may skew
towards each other from the top. The degree of these
symptoms varies depending on how the document was
set or folded. In that case, check the following for
possible resolutions:
- Whether the document is folded properly
- Whether the edges of the document are neatly
aligned with the edges of the Carrier Sheet
- Turn over the Carrier Sheet to the other (reverse)
side and try again
z Part of the image around where the document is folded
may appear missing. In that case, set the document so
its edge is about 1 mm inside from the edge of the
Carrier Sheet.
z When [Black & White] is specified for [Image Mode],
the edges around the image may appear in black from
the shadow of the document.
