6. Clean the cartridge electrical and carriage flex driver cable
contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Refer to Routine
Maintenance. Reseat the flex driver cable connection for print
images which contain vertical bar patterns along the right edge
of print. If more than one color (represented by the vertical
bars) is present then the trailing cable is either unseated or
defective.
7. Clean the encoder strip (top and bottom), slide shaft and
inside of carriage belt with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol.
