Digital Still Camera Mode : Basic Image Taking
Viewing Still Images
+ Youcan play back and view still images stored on the Memory Card.
4, Still images stored on the MemoryCard are all displayed at the same size despite their
originalresolution usingthe LCD screen or viewfinder.
+ There arethree ways to view the recorded images in [] (Play)mode:
• Single:Toview an imageframe by frame
• Slide Show:To view all images automatically in consecutive order
• Multiple Display:Up to 9 thumbnails aredisplayed on the LCD screen at one time.
Viewing a Single Still Image
1. Set the Power switchto O (CAMERA).
2 Set theMode Dial to [_(Play).
• The last imagetaken appears.
3. Movethe Joystick to the left or right, search for the desired still image.
• Toview thenext image, movethe Joystick to the right.
• Toview theprevious image, movethe Joystick to the left.
• Toview thedetailed information on a image, pressthe DISPLAY button.
• Moving theJoystick to the rightwhenyou are onthe last image willtake you to the first
image and movingthe Joystick tothe left when you areon thefirst image will take you
to the last image.
• Keep pressingJoystick to the leftor rightto search quicklyfor an image.
• Todeletethe image displayed, press the DELETE (_) button.

• If there is no stored image in the Memory Card, when you switch to [] (Play) mode, a message
NO IMAGE! is displayed and the MENU button will not function.
• When you connect the Multi-AV cable inthe [] (Play) mode, the Viewfinder turns off
automatically and the TV displays the image.
