Digital Still Camera Mode : Advanced Techniques
÷ The ImageResizing function works only in the [_(Play) mode.

1. Set the Power switchto a (CAMERA).
2. Set the Mode Dial to [_(Play).
• Astored image isdisplayed.
3. Movethe Joystick to the left or right to locate the image you wish to resize.
4. Pressthe MENUbutton.
5. Movethe Joystick tothe left or rightto select _ (RESIZE).
• Availableimage resolutions are listed.
6. Select the desired option bymoving the Joystick up or down, then pressthe Joystick(OK).
• The selected option is applied.
• SelectSTART IMAGE if you want to savethe image as START IMAGE3.
(Thefirst two images are Samsung images and cannot be saved.)

• You can select andresize astill image and then save it to appear asyour newstart-up
image (seepage 131). O@_(• Resizingfor the STARTIMAGE size saves a new image to the camcorder's internal memory, _5_f ........................................................................................
not to the memory card.
• OnlyJPEG file types can be resized.TIFF and moving images cannot be resized.
• Onlydownsizing is supported. Enlarginga image is not supported.
Resizingdoes not delete the original image.An additional resized image is saved on the
memorycard.
