Digital Still Camera Mode : Advanced Techniques

Zooming theImage
1.
Set the Power switchto O (CAMERA).

• Astored imageis displayed. |
3. Select a image by movingthe Joystick tothe left or right. |
• The selected image is displayed. |
4. Pull the Zoom Leverto TELE sideto enter the zoom mode, then use the Zoom Leverto zoom in |
or zoom out. [
• Asmall window appears inthe bottomleft of the LCD screen showingthe current portionof the k
full image.
5. Movethe Joystick up, down, left or rightto movearound the image.
6. To exit PlaybackZoom, push the zoom levertoward the W(WlDE) end untilthe image returns to
normalsize.
• The small window disappearsand returnsto normal viewing mode.
Trimming the Image
1. Pull the Zoom Lever to TELE sideto enter thezoom mode, then use the Zoom Leverto zoom in
or zoom out.
• Move Joystick up, down, left or right to movearound the image.
2. Zoom in to any portionof a stored imagefollowingthe instructionsabove.
3. Pressthe Joystick(OK).
• The messageTRIMMING? will be displayed.
4. Pressthe Joystick(OK) to confirm the trim, or movethe Joystick tothe left to cancel.
• OK: Precedes withthe trimming and saves the trimmed imageas a new file.
• LEFT:Cancels the trimming and returnsto PLAYmode.

Trimmingan imageproduces a new trimmed image which is savedon the memory card. If no space is availableto store the
new trimmed image,itautomatically cancels.
