Digital Still Camera Mode : Basic Image Taking
Setting the Q.View Duration
+ The Q.Viewfunction works only for still imagos.
+ After taking a imago,your Camcorderautomatically displays the image for a few seconds
(Q.View),then returnsto recordingmode. Youcan set the Q.View duration using this menu.
1. Set the Power switchto O (CAMERA).
2. Pressthe MENUbutton
3. Movethe Joystick to the left or right to select _ (SETUP).
• The SETUP menu list will appear.
4. Movethe Joystick up or down to select Q.VlEW, then movethe Joystick to the right.
• Youcan set to 1,2, 3, 4, 5seconds or setto OFR
Select the desired option bymoving the Joystick up ordown, then pressthe Joystick(OK) or
MENUbutton.
• The selected option is applied.
Viewing a Still Image using the Quick Review
+ QuickReview function works in a (Program), i_, (Movie), MySET,M, S,Aand SCENE modes.
+ QuickReview is usedto view the last recordedstill image.

1. Set the Power switchto O (CAMERA).
2. Set the Mode Dial to a (Program), MySET,M, S,A or SCENE.
3. Record astill image using the PHOTO button.
4. Movethe Joystick to the left to view the imagejust taken.
• Tosee detailed informationon the image, press the DISPLAY button once.
5. To return to Camera mode, move the Joystick to the left againor press the PHOTO button
halfway down.
