Setting the Auto ExposureMetering Options: SPOTAE or MULTIAE
+ MULTIand SPOTAE functions work in a (Program), M, S and A modes.
+ Use thisfunction to adjustthe exposureof the subjectto obtain better results.
+ MULTIAE metersthe lightingcondition of the overall image by metering theexposure on
multiplepoints.
+ SPOTAE meters the lightingcondition of a narrower area inorder to have precise exposure
control overa specific subject.
+ The METERINGmenu allows you to select between SPOTAE and MULTIAE for automatic
exposure metering control.
1. Set the Power switchto a (CAMERA).
2. Set the Mode Dial to a (Program), M, S orA.
3. Pressthe MENUbutton.
4. Movethe Joystick tothe left or right to select _ (METERING).
• The availableoptions are listed.
MULTI - SPOT.
5. Select an option by moving the Joystick up or down,then press the Joystick(OK) or
MENUbutton.
• The selected option is applied andautomatically exitsfrom the menu screen.
