- The subject is outdoorsand the background is overcast.
- The lightsourcesare too bright.
- The subject is against a snowybackground.

1. Set the Power switchto REC.
2. Pressthe BLC button.
• BLC icon (_) will be displayed.
3. To exit BLC mode, press the BLC button again.
• Each pressof the BLC button toggles: Normal_ BLC _ Normal.

The BLC function will not operate in EASY.Q mode.
