After Using Your Camcorder
• For the safekeepingof your device, follow these steps.
Remove the cassette (see page 38).
Turnyour camcorder off.
Remove the Battery.
Remove the Memory Card (see page 83)
• Toprevent any damage to the LCD screen, do not applyexcessive force on its moving parts.
• Donot dropor in anywayshock the device.
• For prolonged useof your device, avoid using it in places subject to excessive humidity or dust.
• Donot leave yourdevice in places subjectto:
Excessive humidity,steam, soot or dust
Excessive shock or vibration.
Extremely high (over50°C or 122°F) or extremely low (under0°C or 32°F)temperatures.
Strong electromagneticfields.
Direct sunlightor in a closed car on a hot day.
• The cassetteshould be stored awayfrom heatersand other heatsources.Avoid storing cassettes under directsunlight, and
avoid electromagneticfields.
• The removedBattery Packsshould be stored away from heatersand other heat sources. Donot store the batterypack with
metalobjects or sharp objects to avoid accidental damage to the battery pack.
• The memory cardshould be stored away from heaters andother heatsources.Avoid storing memory cardsunder direct
sunlight,and avoid electromagneticfields. Before removing the memory cardfromyour device, moveor copy your datafrom
the memory card to a PC. Formatthe memory card periodically.
Cleaning For LCD Screen
We recommended using a soft cleaningcloth to removefingerprints or dust on the LCD screen.
