+ File numbers are given to images inthe order they were recordedwhen theyare stored on the Memory
Card.
+ You can reset the numbering back to DCAMO001at any time by settingthe FILE to RESET.
1. Set the Power switch to a (CAMERA).
2. Pressthe MENU button.
3. Move the Joystick to the leftor rightto select _ (SETUP).
• The SETUP menu listwill appear.
4. Move the Joystick up or downto select FILE, then movethe Joystick to the right.
• The RESETand SERIESoptions are displayed.
RESET:When there are no files stored on the Memorycard, the file numbering starts
from 0001.
SERIES:When there areexisting files,the image will be named asthe number inthe
sequence.

5. Select your option by moving the Joystick up or down, then pressthe Joystick(OK) or MENU
button.
• The selected option is applied.

• The file numbers start from DCAM0001 at the time of purchase.
• Moving images are stored inthe folder DCIM.
• File numbering for a Memory Card that contains image files from another device, will begin after the largest
number.
• A previously formatted Memory Card using a personal computer might require reformatting.
• DCF ERROR message isdisplayed when it exceeds the limit. Ifthis occurs, delete files or format your Memory
Card after moving your data stored inthe Memory Card to a PC.
