VENTILATION:
Slotsand openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation to
ensurereliable operation of the CAMCORDER andto protectit
from overheating.These openings must not be blocked or
covered. Never placeyour CAMCORDER on a bed, sofa, rug,
or other similar surface: onor near a radiator or heat register.
This CAMCORDER should netbe placed in a built-ininstallation
such asa bookcase or rackunless properventilation is provided
or the manufacturer's instructionshave beenadhered to.
10. POWER SOURCES:
The CAMCORDER should be operated only from the type of
power source indicated on the label.
Ifyou are notsure of thetype of power supply at your home,
consult your appliance dealer or local power company.
A CAMCORDER is intended to be operatedfrom battery power,
or other sources, referto the operating instructions.
11. GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION:
This CAMCORDER may be equipped with eithera polarized
2-wireAC line plug (aplug having oneblade wider thanthe other)
or a 3-wire grounding type plug, a plug havinga third (grounding)
pin.
Ifyou are unableto insert the plugfullyinto the outlet,try reversing
the plug.Ifthe plug still fails tofit, contact your electricianto
replace youroutlet. Do net defeatthe safety purpose ofthe
polarizedplug.
13. OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING:
If an outside antenna orcable system is connected to the
CAMCORDER, be surethe antennaor cable system is grounded
to provide some protectionagainst voltage surges and built-up
staticcharges, Section810 ofthe National Electrical Code,
ANSI/NFPA No. 70-1984,provides information with respectto
proper groundingof the mast and supportingstructure, grounding
ofthe lead-in wireand supportingstructure, groundingof the mast
and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an
antenna discharge unit, size of grounding to conductors, location
of antenna-discharge unit, connectionto grounding electrodes
and requirements for the grounding electrode.

12, POWER-CORD PROTECTION:
Power-supplycords should be routedso thatthey are net likelyto
bewalked on or pinched by itemsplaced upon or against them,
paying particularattention to cords orplugs, convenient
receptacles, andthe point where they exit from the unit.
