+ Photo image recordingworks only in REC mode.
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. Pressthe PHOTObutton.
• The still picture is recorded forabout 6-7 seconds.
3. After the PHOTOhas been recorded, the Camcorder returns to STBY mode.
Searching for a Photo Image
+ The Photo Searchworks only inPLAYmode.
+ Youcanusephoto searchingbyusingthePHOTOSEARCHbuttonon theremotecontrol.
1. Set the Power switch to PLAY.
2. Pressthe MENU button.
• The menu listwill appear.
3. Move the Joystick up or down to select Tape,then press the Joystick(OK).
4. Move the Joystick up or down to select Photo Search, then pressthe Joystick(OK).
5. Pressthe 4NI/I_,(REW/FF) buttons to select the photo.
• The photo search process appears on LCD screen whileyou are searching.
• After completing the search, the Camcorderdisplays the stillimage.
6. Toexit, press the • (STOP) or MENUbutton.
[ Notes ]
• Photo image recording is not available while recording.
• You can use photo image recording by using the PHOTO button on the remote control.
Pressing the PHOTO button on the remote control records the still image at once with automatic
focusing.
• When there are no still images recorded on the tape, itwill be fully rewound or forwarded.
• Photo image recording is not available while Color Nite or 16:9 Wide is in use.
• DIS, Digital Zoom, Color Nite and Digital Effect are not available, when photo image recording.
• Photo image recording while EASY.Q, DIS or Digital Zoom mode is in use will release current
mode. (After a photo image is taken, the mode will return automatically.)
