2. Start reset. Press and hold the two buttons for more than two seconds. The mono-
chrome LCD control panel switches off momentarily while the settings are reset.
3. Release the two buttons. Your camera’s settings have been returned to the factory
default, as described below.
Once a two-button reset has been performed, the following settings will be restored to
their defaults (all these options are described in Chapters 8, 9, and 10):
■ Image quality: Normal
■ Image Size: L (Large)
■ White balance:
Auto>Normal
White balance Fine Tuning: 0
■ ISO sensitivity:
Auto and Scene modes: Auto
Program, Shutter-priority, Aperture-priority, Manual modes: 100
